Bio
Nevin Ekinci-Sinmaz is a cultural studies scholar (M.A.) and, since 2024, a research associate on the “Partizipation Digital” project at the Office of the Berlin Senate Commissioner for Participation, Integration, and Migration. In this role, she supports the development of a digital welcome centre that provides migrants with accessible, multilingual information and assistance. Previously, she spent several years at the Berlin IQ Network, where she led projects on labour market anti-discrimination and helped establish professional networks. Her work focuses on fostering a socially just, inclusive, and participation-oriented culture of welcome.
