Bio
After studying sociology in Heidelberg and Frankfurt am Main, Justus Reuling began his professional career in 2022 at the Hessian Ministry for Labour, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs, where he worked on the implementation of the European Social Fund Plus in Hessen. In 2024, he moved to Berlin to join the Senate Department for Labour, Social Services, Gender Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination.
Since then, his work has focused on employment promotion. He is responsible for the design, management, and further development of funding programmes aimed at the labour market integration of disadvantaged groups, with skills development being a key component. The target groups of these programmes include long-term unemployed individuals, refugees, people in publicly subsidised employment, as well as young people transitioning from school to work.
